Crystal has worked hard for years to master the art of tying her own shoe strings. For a long time she gave up and chose to wear velcro so she could be more independent. Recently, she was encouraged by her CILA staff Teresa and the other staff at her home to start working on it again. Today, Crystal marched into my office and announced that she had finally mastered the art! Crystal demonstrated her new skill proudly! It was met with applause and many hugs. She was so excited, she decided to sign us a song over the intercom! Today is a great day for Crystal. Who know what she will do next, anything is possible!!!!!!!
